Biannual Contests
This happens Wednesday night. At 10 p.m., I email her my first (very rough) novel.
Thursday night: "I LOVED it! Send me more!"
Agents never ask what your family, best friend, or teacher thinks. In business, it doesn't matter. But, as I wrote back to her, bubbles of happiness are going through me!70,000 words- 1 day- *rubs hands together*. I'd better finish the third book before Saturday!

That's really awesome. :P I share with Maggie for that reason--it's fun to share with friends. And kind of amazing when they LIKE it.
