After finishing my beta work as soon as school let out, I had a lovely new set of ideas to swirl around my brain. Mostly romance, since that was the last work I'd critiqued, but I set off today on the

Double NaNo Challenge:
Two months, two novels.
Day one progress: (starting small) 10 handwritten pages, 1 1/2 chaptersAnyhow, after five pages I set my journal down (writing in the car gets to you pretty quickly), and since we were parked, decided to refresh my memory on how I had begun Book 3.
My main character? Ariel. Read through each of her scenes, laughing in most of them, until I came to a blank page and demanded to know why it was so.
*awkward cough* I was glad I was in a parking lot. You're always free to think the strange looks were intended for someone else.
Anyhow, that blank page was the end of the journal. I think five months have passed since I wrote it. On the bright side, I'm uber motivated to write; the con is that I think my quality of writing went down, and I'll need to pull it up by then so it matches when I flesh out the first draft of Book three. Until then, I'm forcing myself to remove the word 'revise' from the list of words that can be comprehended.
Side note: I'll be visiting family during next week, so I may not be blogging daily about the double NaNo, but I'll do it as often as I can.
