ASB + Contests

I'm in a particularly good mood today. So I'll start by mentioning the major accomplishments of my two blogger buds, Lydia and Zoe- both are over 100 followers! Congrats! Be sure to check out their contests, too (linked). The Fifth agent contest is also up again, if you missed the post on querytracker.

My major accomplishment this week was a speech.

No, it wasn't that I was elected vice president of my class, or that I ran unopposed (when I thought I was opposed), but that I ROCKED the speech. I was interupted by cheering five times, and felt like the president.

(Ahem. See why I never claim to be modest?)

P.S.- My apologies for not posting more frequently- school takes most of my time, and my mom is afraid blogging is linked to stress. Hence, posts will be shorter (hopefully not farther between- I'll do my best!). :)

Where were you five years ago?

1. I was celebrating reaching the double digits in age
2. Had more ideas than words in my head, but finished my first novel.
3. In the midst of moving. AGAIN. But VC turned out to be good. :)
4. Had my 3 BFF's (whom I still keep in touch with)
5. First considered suicide (well, that was the only time, really... and it wasn't serious at all, just a what if?)

Where would you like to be five years from now?

1. Leme think... 5 years... I should be 20... doing good at Princeton University? :)
2. Oh, yeah. Published. With multiple books, maybe?
3. Have a car. (My brother still can't drive- he's 18.)
4. Being a newscaster? Something similar...
5. Hopefully sane *crosses fingers*

What was on your to-do list today?

From my desk-side notebook, as exactly written:

1. Fix the Lyon- Obsidian meeting scene, less reliance on the scrying
2. Concert. In the evening, I hope...
3. Math HW
4. Retype ch. 1 (new)
5. Chemistry/ AP Euro project

What five snacks do you enjoy?

1. CHOCOLATE
2. popcorn
3. Apple sauce (always good, especially for sore throats)
4. Soup (hot)
5. Ice cream with randow toppings (If it hadn't said "snacks" I would have put healthy food...)

What five things would Billionaire CQ do?

1. I could go to 100 here, but I'd probably retire first. Y'know, so I can write 2 books a year untill I make it over 100 without keeling over from age.
2. Scholarship funds for all the kids who try super hard in school.
3. Pay off my mom's house so she can keep her garden forever.
4. Send my brother to Africa to build homes. "See? The world doesn't revolve around you!"
5. Become a literary agent (insane, I know) or a politician (did not occur to me until today that I'd be good at it...)
